We've had to run the script hidden in the OneDrive.app folder to reset and remove OneDrive multiple times across many devices to clean up installs and then install the latest version of OneDrive to fix issues. Even then, unless you are on High Sierra or higher, you will have other issues. The easiest way to fix this that I have found, for the initial sync, is to move the data to an external Drive, then plug it into a Windows computer and run the Migration Tool: Ī huge issue we have found is unless you are using SSD's and have enough memory, you will hit huge bottlenecks with OneDrive on MacOS.

It's frustrating that I can't move a few GBs but even more frustrating that I can't get any real help on the matter. I can't express the immense amount of work piling up because I've spent two weeks troubleshooting OneDrive. This is seriously impacting our company's migration from Dropbox and Google to SharePoint as I'm the only person working on this project and have most of my week taken up trying to upload these files. Since then, I'm left to pause / sync repeatedly to move a few files at a time. When I do so, I get 10-30MB to sync.Īt one point, 2 days ago, about 9GB miraculously synced over the course of an hour.
The best support I've received is, after a 3 hour support call, "pause it for a few minutes then resume for a couple hours". I've reached out and have communicated with 3 'ambassadors' but none have been very helpful at all.
